Our Mission:
We find creative ways to
get more people better food.
Our Vision:
We believe in the power of self-efficacy, the importance of education
and how resilient communities can be when they have access to good food.
Through advocacy and programming we look forward to positive, incremental shifts
in our food system by collaborating and engaging people where they are.

How We Do It

Our programs are designed to provide cooperative efforts through our network of community partners. Together we serve the segmented populations that are in greater need; such as: Seniors, Disabled and Low-Income community-members.

Community Gardening & Wellness Classes
We partner with organizations and businesses to provide outreach for our mission, programs and services while providing the community members with options to growing, choosing, preparing and eating Quality Healthy Fresh Foods.
Our community cooking & wellness classes are adaptable and will provide engagement and food for all!

We connect people to Food in a real way; by growing it. Also by incorporating and connecting cultural practices to Cooking Food.

Supporting Local
Agriculture & Farmers
We value our North Carolina farmers and support local agriculture by using resources and locally sourced seasonal ingredients for our community Senior Meals, CSA Boxes & Wellness programs.
Through our local food purchases we've kept over $10,000 right here in our community since inception and will continue growing that number through our programs and services.
